COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT is a department in the government of the Hinds County Board of Supervisors. The Communication Department is responsible for the telephones and telephone lines in the various departments of the Hinds County Government.

    The goal of the department is to keep communications (telephones and lines) in good working order within the departments of Hinds County Government and process the bills of the telephone services for payment in a timely manner. Communications equipment (telephones) working properly allows the county departments to conduct county business.
