EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE is a department in the Government of the Hinds County Board of Supervisors. The Emergency Medical Service Department is responsible to oversee/monitor the Contract of the Contractual Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service provider operating in the area of Hinds County, MS, including the City of Jackson, MS, and City of Clinton, MS.

    The goal of the department is to ensure the highest quality patient care in an emergency and/or non-emergency ambulance service situation for the citizens and visitors of Hinds County, MS.
