Hinds County EOC will be hosting two NWS Storm Spotters Courses.  These courses are open to the public and will be held at the Emergency Operations Center 300 North State Street in Jackson.  The first class is Tuesday February 7th at 3pm.  The second class is Thursday March 22nd at 6pm.  The classes are normally about 1.5 to 2 hours.  You do not have to sign up for the classes just show up.

Hinds County Justice Court recently announced an online payment option for most of the traffic citations it issues. Credit card or debit card payments can now be made over the Internet at www.hindscotix.com without leaving the comfort of home or office  and citation holders can call the toll free help line for assistance.
